Frequently Asked Questions
What are the prerequisites?
You need to be 18+, a PADI Rescue Diver (or equivalent), have a current EFR certification, and at least 40 logged dives to start. Ideally you will also have done a night dive.
Can I do the course in less than 4 weeks?
Yes, it is possible to complete the training in less than 4 weeks, however we do not recommend this. Becoming a dive professional takes time to master all elements of the program and build real confidence in the water.
Is accommodation provided?
We can help arrange housing near our centres in Bali or Nusa Penida. Accommodation costs vary depending on your preferences. normally people will spend between IDR 3,000,000 - IDR 6,000,000 per month on accommodation
What equipment will I need?
Dune can provide all essential dive equipment. However, we strongly recommend that you have your own mask, fins, dive computer, DSMB and reel, and compass so you can train with gear you know and trust.
